REFURBISHMENT OF HYTHE SCHOOL EGHAM

Icon Design was commissioned to carry out the structural design for the conversion of this 16th Century school into luxury flats.
The original timber semi-circular trusses to the high roofs were maintained with new first floor acting as ties to the feet of the trusses following removal of the existing tie rods.
We are pleased to be associated with this project which won a conservation award from Runnymede Borough Council in autumn 2001.
